4 Wedding Venues In Kent To Consider

One of the biggest decisions that has to be made by happy couples planning to take the plunge in the near future is the venue - and the good news is that Kent has a huge number to choose from, so there is sure to be something to suit all tastes and to meet all desires.

What about paying a visit to Leeds Castle once the pandemic lockdown has been lifted to see if this is the right venue for you both? It comes with its very own moat (so wedding photos will look amazing!) and you’ve got 500 acres of parklands and gardens to really make your special day come alive.

There’s also The Oak Barn for those of you out there looking for something with a bit of rustic charm. It has a stunning high vaulted roof and a glass front that overlooks the courtyard, as well as a beautiful terrace, lily pond and waterfall that will really add a few special touches to proceedings.

Make your way to Faversham, nestled in the heart of the beautiful Kent countryside, and you’ll find Mount Ephraim, an amazing stately home inside ten acres of Edwardian gardens. You’ll definitely be taken with the impressive staircase that leads down to the ceremony lawn - where you’ll find some fun rock pools and a Japanese stone bridge and lake.

And then there’s the George Vaults, perfect if you’re looking for something a little unusual. This is a 14th century wedding venue in Rochester, with room for up to 70 guests spread over three floors - sure to be a talking point for guests.
